Transforms into......

A quick entry today as we bring you up to speed with all things Boo & family related.

Well, we enjoyed the world cup, at least Jessica enjoyed her side’s performances whereas I was quietly resigned to lame defending costing England at critical times.  It’s good to see a continued growth of the game here & it’s rightfully making inroads into the sports coverage.

Ryan is now back and swimming each Sunday morning, it’s only a short 30 minute session but it’s a small group and he’s enjoyed it so far.  The best news is the water is warm enough to keep him happy even though he ends up shivering when he gets out.  Far better than the previous pool 18 months ago when even I got cold in it.

His current favorite activity is “Transformers - Rescue Bots”... these Transform into various things such as trucks, police cars & helicopters.  He’s very much addicted to the video we have, sadly it’s only 22 mins long - I guess it’s a TV slot type of cartoon - and he’s watched it 100+ times at least.  We finally managed to convince him to at least return to Wall-E in the car.

Ryan has decided everything transforms, even the cats...Poof is an ambulance because he’s predominantly white, Jet is Batman’s car and Jake is, well we’re not sure, maybe something like a magic carpet!

His speech continues to improve & school is even trying to give him incentive to try new foods, we’ll be anxiously seeing what we can learn & implement here.

His bedtime tricks are showing new levels of cunning, right now he’s heading up to bed with Mom, only to come down about 15 mins later when she’s asleep.  After maybe 30 mins with me, he announces he’s “So tired!” and volunteers to go to his bed.  Great you think, & you’d be wrong..... because when I go to bed, his door is now open and he’s asleep in our bed.

So I move him back to his bed.  And go to sleep.  To be woken by a boo-foot in the face at 2am because he’s come back to our bed.

Ryan clearly transforms into a ............!

Till next time,
J, J & R.
