It’s finally time for the first booster blog of 2015, why the delay you may ask and the answer is quite simple.
Daddy’s fault.
That, apparently is the new 42 - the
answer to everything. It could probably solve chaos theory though I
suspect Ryan is responsible for 90% of that in our house, and would only
be stumped by the inadequacies of the ACA. That’s right, a plan to
make things more affordable sees families in a position where they need
to find $2,000 or more in the first two months of the year... flawed? Oh
yeah.
Anyway, moving on Ryan would like to
announce some news and this is fundamentally the reason for the wide gap
between entries. He’s going to be a big brother! After lots of pain
& frustration, not to mention some serious financial outlay it turns
out all we needed was time. We’ve left it till now for a formal
mention despite knowing since before Christmas because, well you all
should be able to work out why.
So, everything looks good & we’ve
had some early genetic testing done which has put us in a position where
we know a lot more about Baby 3 than we would normally, this has
allowed Jessica to be her usual cunning self and set up a baby hunch
pool. So far we’ve had a lot of entrants and everyone is either right
or wrong, time will tell.
Jessica refused to put in my option of
saying “50% ENGLISH” which was rude but made me think we’ll do a sneaky
DNA test just to check for awesomeness!
Other than that, right now I’m staring
out an impending snowstorm, which tops off the fact it’s colder than a
reception from my ex-mother in law, previously when I saw a temp of 10
it’s really ok, now I’m seeing 1 0r 2 and thinking this is when Capt
Oates said he was “going outside” - (Not true I know, but bloody Florida
was bitching cos it was 40 so if they can exaggerate, so can I!)
Ryan continues to progress with
speech, when he concentrates, the same as swimming though he’s finding
it hard to trust now that he sometimes goes out of his depth - it’ll
come, just needs time.
Well obviously nothing else matters till August, but we’ll keep in touch and shortly may have more interesting information.
Be good, and wrap up.
J, J, R & B3.
