On Monday I
received an offer from General Dynamics so I submitted my resignation
to SAIC effective February 18th. I’m going to take a week off to spend
time with James and Ryan before starting the new job on February 28th. A
full week with no work responsibilities will be a relief!
Tuesday morning I got up before 5AM to
register Ryan for baby swim lessons! James and I will both be taking
Ryan to his 13 weekly lessons that start late March. We’re very excited
to see how Ryan reacts to the pool.
I also managed to get the pavilion
reserved for Ryan’s first birthday party on May 7th. I’m having a great
time planning the details (even though it’s still three months away)!
Today Ryan is off to spend the weekend
with Aunt Maggie, Uncle Jeff & Cousin Fiona. James and I will be
going to SAIC to pack up my desk (and get some filing done) and then
we’re thinking about seeing a movie (if we can agree on a movie!).
