Warning! Flood alert in Loudon County scheduled for September 2015.
That’s right, in a year Ryan will be
heading off for his first day at Kindergarten and Jessica will be
crying. So will I, but it will be from happiness :)
In the meantime we’re working on our
reading & writing skills.... and so is Ryan. Only a few tantrums
and timeouts required but that’s enough about me. I’m not convinced
creating guns from lego forms part of the curriculum, but if it does,
Ryan’s got at least 1 A grade subject!
Picture above is because both Poof
& Thug Cat celebrate birthdays this month, Poof is now 9 and Jake
turns 5. They certainly seem to be still full of the energy and not
showing too many signs of slowing down unlike Jet who is most definitely
more dopey than before.
As we’re into September we’re
wondering what happened to summer, sure we had several hot days, but
last year 10-15 days went over 100 and I can’t recall 1 this year, maybe
it’s a rollover from the long winter but early indications say this
next winter will also be a pig so we’ll see. At least now we’re getting
the occasional storm which saves me having to bother watering the
plants.
Rumor has it we’ll be getting some
special guests at the end of the month, Ryan doesn’t know this yet so
he’ll enjoy the surprise.
Short & sweet this time.
