Glad that's over!

Originally posted June 14, 2011
Well it’s time for a new blog entry, and again apologies for the extended delay in bringing everyone up to date.

Sitting in a new apartment, with remarkably few boxes still to be emptied/sorted out is a nice feeling.  It’s certainly deserved after the past week or so, which was a lot harder than originally planned.

Ryan was shipped off for some “liberal” indoctrination with Maggie whilst we moved over the weekend, we were able to get a safety zone sort of cleared for him to rumble about causing trouble as per usual!  Ryan has been missing the cats who were a little unnerved by the move, Jakey spent 24 hours behind the washing machine, Poof cat resorted to type and cowered under the bed & even Jet jumped into the bath for a while.  Fortunately things are slowly returning to normal and they’re settling in well.

It’s always the same when you move, you end up wondering where something ended up, right now it’s Ryan’s crib bumper set... the crib arrived, but not the Pooh set.  We’re hoping that it got stuffed in a box yet to be found as it certainly wasn’t left behind.  We do like the new place a lot, parking is simple... right outside our door, and we can use our patio entrance as the main door.  Jessica loves the short commute, and things are looking good as we find a place for everything - which Ryan then pulls out and throws on the floor, sigh!

Oh, well I won’t steal Jessica’s thunder, but Ryan got signed up by a child talent agency!  Time to earn enough to pay for mommy’s crack habit (No, that’s not right....).  Mommy’s shopping habit!

Finally, a little high 5 for Jessica who tolerated many swear word combos as I humped several heavy boxes & items from the old place without assistance on Sunday, and then came up with some swear combos even I’d not heard/created when we had to bail Paul out of the hole he’d dug himself on Monday.  I know she appreciates the effort and making her happy is well worth the time.  Big hugs from Boo & I.

More soon.
James
